My reflection...
One of the thing i enjoyed was Indians and cowboys and it was real fun.
One of the things i didn't enjoy was getting hit by the ball.
What I did was listen to the coach and i didn't get in trouble.

My Persuasive speech - Why Kids Should Have More Playtime

My Reflection: I was learning to write, plan and present a persuasive speech. My success criteria were: - I have an introduction, conclusion, and three paragraphs each giving a reason to support my main argument - each of my paragraphs are at least three sentences long - I have researched and included facts to back up my argument - I speak loudly and clearly to my audience - my speech is between 2 and 3 minutes long I think I achieved my success criteria because I did some good writing on this speech and some good reasons Next time I write or present a speech I will need to work on my conclusion and introduction I think I did well at at my first reason because I put interesting facts in it

Don´t come knocking here - Readers Theatre

My reflection: I was learning to read aloud with expression. My success criteria were to: - read with a loud, clear voice - change my voice depending on the punctuation - hold my book so that the audience can see and hear me clearly I think I achieved my success criteria because I talked with expression and i didn't muck anything up. Next time I do a reader's theater performance I will work on...my acting and start moving around. I think I did well at this performance because I didn't rune anyone's line or muck up mine.

The Haunted house

                             I achieved my WALT because I read through the whole book and answered all the questions.

My Reflection I was learning to link ideas (both implicit and explicit) in the text to give a greater understanding of the story. In this activity, my success criteria were to read the story and use full stops and make full sentences.

In this activity I had to...do add up the biggest number to smallest, and I had to use different types of strategies.

I found this hard because…I didn't get it finished a in time.

My next steps are to...to learn how to use a rounding strategy.

Dear Diary Term 2 week 7

dear diary I've did so munch fun stuff this term like playing soccer and rugby I mad so much new friends this term like mankran and jack.This term I learnt more writing and maths plus reading this week were learning about fractions for maths and were still working on our explanation writing we did bike skills with ash.My best part about this term is bikeskills and jump jam I think I can prove that I'm a good learner for the next few days.dear diary this term we are going to make speaches and and I already uploaded my haunted house follow up 

Matariki

WALT write an acrostic poem about Matariki

I know I have been successful because I have written a sentence for each letter, and the first word of each sentence starts with a letter from ‘Matariki’. I have also written about the main features of Matariki, and my writing makes sense.

My next step for my writing is to try to make my readers understand writing.

                            WALT  compare and and mesure lenght and height in diffrent ways. I think I achieved the WALT because I have mesured my height and arm lenght in hands metres  and centermeters.
