I found this hard because it was tricky to show my workings.

WALA Father's Day.

I enjoyed this because i got to make origami things and draw pictures and cut out.

I found this hard because my group couldn't find easy origami to do.

My next step is to try and make the origami that is  hard so it is better.

Recount - pizza

I enjoyed this because i liked eating the garlic bread.

I found this easy because we only had do the simple things e.g spread the sauce over the pizza.

My next step is to try and make sure there is enough sauce for everybody because Thomas didn't get as much as me and Mahdi.

WALT write a poem about a pet using the structure of James Carters' "Have you seen my dragon?"
I enjoyed this because it was sort of a rhyming poem.

I found this easy because I didn't have anyone distracting me.

My next step is to try and think of more interesting facts that can make this better.

YouthTown

My Reflection

What I enjoyed about YouthTown was that we got to play fun games like,dodge ball,Hot seat,and  golden child.

What I enjoyed playing was Dodge ball cause we got to throw balls and run around.

My goal in YouthTown is to try and get more people out in dodge ball.

What I enjoyed doing was adding interesting words and doing words with Mack.

I found this easy because Mack was my partner and he edited this with interesting punctuation.

My next step is to try to edit with some interesting punctuation instead of my partner.

I found this hard because it was hard finding facts.

What I enjoyed was choosing what to write about.

I found this easy because I had a group to help me and we got it done fast and easy.

What I enjoyed was drawing the whole top right picture and letting Markel's Korean buddy colour in.

Triangles

My refllection

What I enjoyed was helping Sam and Phoenix. I also enjoyed getting over 9 triangles.

I found this easy because I actually got over 25.

My next step is to try and get 20 in 3 mins.

I found right-angled triangles, Isosceles triangles ,Equilateral triangles and scalene triangles.

The propitiates of an isosceles is that 2 sides are the same and one isn't.

The propitiates of a right angled triangle is that it has a 90 degree angle.

The propitiates of an equilateral triangle is that all the sides are the same.

The propitiates of a scalene triangle is that all the sides are all odd.

Cook Island language week - geometry

My reflection

What I enjoyed about this is that I got to make an ei and wear it as an accessory.

What I found tricky was the tessellation because I had to restart it as it wasn't symmetrical.

My next step is to try and make my ei flowers stick more.

What I enjoyed was cutting out and sticking the information on.

I found it tricky looking for heading and clues.

My next is to support my team so we can finish quicker.

I found the second part of the activity easy because I already knew my learning goals for next term.

 What I enjoyed was sticking on the paper and making anything that was appropriate.

 I found this hard because sticking the small pieces of paper in the gaps was tricky for me to do.

  What I found easy was doing the the key information because it came from the book and it was easy to find.

  I found this easy to write about why I would be famous and why I wouldn't because I have thought about this before.

Welcome to my year five blog post.This year my teacher's name is Mrs Bezuidenhout. One of my goals for this year is to improve with my maths because I want to be in the smartest math group and I hope you enjoyed my welcome post. Thanks for reading. Please leave lots of feed back.
