My Reflection

For Reading we did a map of the story we were reading Kensuke's Kingdom. I didn't get to read much of the story so I buddied up with Michael it took us about 6 days. We used the transition tool it was hard to use it at first but I got use to it. Hope you enjoy.

MY REFLECTION

I am learning to extend my knowledge of new vocabulary.
I found this activity a little bit challenging because some of the words, I did not know the definitions of them.
Next time I could use a dictionary to help with the definitions.

I found this hard to find out the meanings of words.

I found this easy because it was easy to find the definition in the dictionary.

My reflection

I found this easy cause I usually say technically lots of times.

I enjoyed this cause I get to talk about a word I already know.

My next step is to find a word I don't know.

I enjoyed this because me and Callum got to write separate things for Jack and Summer.

I found it easy because we new the things that they liked to do.

I found this easy because I saw lots of ideas to add.

I found inferencing hard because I didn't know much about birds and bullies.

My next step is to try to find more ideas about what I saw and what I already know.

My reflection

Walt scan a text for information. 

What I enjoyed was cutting out and sticking the information on.

I found it tricky looking for heading and clues.

My next is to support my team so we can finish quicker.

 What enjoyed was writing the key information as I had to read the book to find out information.
  What I found easy was doing the the key information because it came from the book and it was easy to find.
 My next step is to add more key detail to support the main idea I chose.

Don´t come knocking here - Readers Theatre

My reflection: I was learning to read aloud with expression. My success criteria were to: - read with a loud, clear voice - change my voice depending on the punctuation - hold my book so that the audience can see and hear me clearly I think I achieved my success criteria because I talked with expression and i didn't muck anything up. Next time I do a reader's theater performance I will work on...my acting and start moving around. I think I did well at this performance because I didn't rune anyone's line or muck up mine.

                             I achieved my WALT because I read through the whole book and answered all the questions.

My Reflection I was learning to link ideas (both implicit and explicit) in the text to give a greater understanding of the story. In this activity, my success criteria were to read the story and use full stops and make full sentences.
